Michelle Mommy & Me - Oxford NC

I have been terrible about blogging my session lately, but I'm determined to get better! I had the opportunity to do a mommy and me session for this sweet lady and her beautiful kiddos. Best part? Her friend set it up as a surprise. She called her hairdresser and asked her to add curls, talked to her momma and had supper ready, and picked out her kids outfits so she didn't have to worry about that when she got home. That's what I call prepared - and an awesome friend.

I had a great time with these kiddos. They remind me so much of my own! We found this fun patch of yellow flower in their own front yard and I just loved them as a backdrop.

They also live in a great neighborhood that has a lot of awesome options for places to take photos. We were able to go down to the pond and get quite a few shots down there - and even got photo-bombed by a few ducks. On the way there I stopped the littlest and momma in the front yard because the lighting was just amazing and grabbed the shot of he two of them together. I love when my clients have such great yards and neighborhoods.

And of course a little birdie told me that this grandma didn't have any good photos with her daughter since her wedding - so we had to remedy that! Every momma needs a good picture with their child.
